This year, President Bush pardoned the thanksgiving turkey. There is a photo-op of Pres Bush with the turkey, petting it actually. This follows a long presidential tradition of pardoning the turkey. Does this mean that no president in office has ever eaten turkey on thanksgiving? If they do eat turkey where does this turkey come from? Wasn't the pardoned turkey good enough for them. Is it the second turkey who egts the ax? Shouldn't he pardon turkey 2 too? The turkey questions boggle the ming!!!
Good thing I'm a cow person.

Well a guy on the radio went to visit the farm where all pardoned turkeys go. The pen was empty. It seems that because the turkeys are overfed they don't last long anyway.
