Don't know if I can continue
I'm not sure how I'm going to survive. I'm searching for alternatives but haven't found a replacement yet.

Mother's Cookies, an Oakland institution for 92 years, has been shuttered, its owner seeking bankruptcy protection for the company.

I don't what what the future holds for me without my cookies. I can't picture a normal life without them.

That looks like a one cause for concern, but it's just a temporary Q4 new issue...

Cookies? You guys are upset over COOKIES?? Must be some sort of subliminal affiliate marketing message when you've got a cookie fetish.

I, on the other hand, have been foiled repeatedly in finding a good sweet potato pie for Thanksgiving this year.

    Hmmmm. Pie. Hmmmm.

Well, Mother's Cookies are no longer on the shelves at our local market. :-( Daughter returned with a bag of Keebler animal cookies with frosting - pretty similar to Mom's - :-)

Well I am back from WINCO's safeway and albertsons and they no longer have them Because I bought them ALL!! When I say I love these cookies, I really mean I love these cookies, my husband is going to kill me later when he gets home so I have about 3 hours to enjoy them!
Sweet Potatoe Pie is a rarity, love it too I will bake you one if you can't find it.

Don't dispair Mack. I actually make cookies myself from time to time with my specialty being chewy - thick chocolate chip cookies. Email me for pricing and shipping info. I'm thinking of calling it "Famous Al-mous" cookie Co.

I've been hitting stores and found a few stray bags.

I'm hoping they'll get bought out by someone, like Smuckers.

I checked at Winco yesterday. Couldn't find a single bag. All they had were their generic Cascade Pride circus cookies. I'll try those only in desperation. So long sweet crispy little elephants, rinos, and lions...

Yea winco was a waste but try freddies, safeway and albertsons! Cash N Carry too, I am thinking about going to cash n carry, its like costco for businesses except they don't card you so virtually anyone can walk in, when i was gm for a restaurant i would cut costs by doing the shopping myself at cash n carry. Thinking about going there, I doubt they have any though. But it wouldn't hurt to pick up 50# of potatos.
