Ipower - Sucks as an Advertiser - Beware
This is my own personal experience. I myself purchased a hosting plan through an affiliate link on my own website. And few days later, I still don't see any sale logged in. So, I contact their affilaite manager - Jen Merry. Here is the conversation:

    Hello ,

Your order should show up within 2 hours of it being placed. Can you please send me the username or domain name and I can add in the credit manually?

    Thanks,
    Jen Merry

    Hello,

I ordered a hosting plan myself from Ipower on 11/2/08, through an affiliate link on CJ. But so far, no sale or click has been logged for the same. Can you please check if any record exists? Also, what is the time frame for commission?

    Thanks
As you can see, she assured me that she would do it manually. So, I send over the information she requested and till now there is no sale logged in. I have been sending mails to her - but no response.

What am I supposed to do now? Anybody?

Yes, I already was thinking of doing that. Thanks.

But now she can easily make this excuse - out of office. you've given her an idea. Anyways, I am concerned with my commission.

yes, never got a reply. It isn't the first hosting company that doesn't bother to get back to you

Can't we do anything about this? They are so easily screwing us all..we are getting them all the traffic they need, making their business grow and they don't even acknowledge that.

search through the forum. There have been many instances of web hosting companies ripping us all off.

Since she said she'd add it manually, you could try calling their normal Customer Service line and complaining there. Added pressure from other departments to get resolution from a dissatisfied customer may push her to do what she said she'd do.

    If she's in house, anyway.

Stay tuned for a hosting company that won't bone you . We are positioning ourselves right now. We are already doing the hosting, just working on making everything more presentable. An inhouse affiliate program will be in place from day one.

I myself didn't get paid for this. My friend open a account under me and I was never paid.
