    5 years down...
So today is my 5 year wedding anniversary!

It's been a longggggg 5 years (kidding) I am a pretty lucky guy to be able to find a woman that puts up with my crap and my 24/7 obsession with affiliate marketing!

Any words of advice for many more?

    Thanks!

    Congratz.

Keep on plugging away. Bribing your partner with diamond rings, etc does work occassionally

    (But what do i know)

    WTG Jason!

I'm reminded of Haiko's sig; The secret of success is constancy of purpose. Make the words in your wedding vows your purpose, particularly the "To have and to hold, for worse", "in sickness", and "for poorer". Those are the ones you'll stumble on. And another word; commitment, no matter what. October 16th was our 37th anniversary. Make it a goal...

5 years, WOW. Congrats bro. My wife and I both forgot our anniversary for the first time this year because of the new baby. Our lives have completely changed, it's very true. Congrats again.

I'd say try to set up a outlook reminder, so you won't risk your chance forgetting the anniversary like Dominic Congrats!

Congratulations Jason! Wishing you ten times more!

I'd say loyalty, respect and compassion go a long way to maintaining a solid relationship. Make sure your wife knows she's loved, cherished and valued at all times.

Seems like you have it figured out ... keep doing what you're doing.
    Peace,

That's a wonderful milestone, Jason. Congratulations! WTG!

BTW, Loxly's advice (above) is pretty good advice. Nancy and I still do that, and we've got a "few" years on ya.

Congrats to you and your wife! 10 years this past summer for us. My wife's parents finally cleaned out the house and brought all of her stuff down to us. I guess that means we're really married now.

Advice: When she starts on that 10 min. chat late at night about how things are going at work, always pay close attention, nod a lot, and rarely offer a fix to the situation. She's not looking for a solution, she's looking to get it off her mind.

Congrats! We'll hit the big 30 on Sept. 1 so I can't even remember our 5th LOL Like Loxly said, make each other laugh. Don't sweat the small stuff, accept each other for what you are. Hope you get to see 30 too.

Congrats Jason! You may feel like the lucky one, but she is lucky as well to have a husband be so proud. Here's to many, many more anniversaries.

You've gotten some great advice here, Jason. I would "second" or "third" or whatever the importance of humor. Keep making her laugh, and laugh with her!

No way to express the joy of looking back and suddenly realizing those 5 years have turned into 40+ -- and the wonder that you still share that love!

First off congratulations. Remember she is a woman and occasionally treat her the way you did before there was a ring on her finger. Take time for yourselves.

    Congratulations to you both.
My best advice after 19 years experience, is to remember that it's a womans nature to have to talk. A lot. It's a mans nature to try and fix things. Stop trying to fix things and just listen. Carefully! If she wants you fix something she'll tell you. Write it down on your "Honey Do" list and try to fix them in priority. Otherwise, Just listen. Most importantly, stop trying to be right all the time. If she's stuck it out with you this long it's because she sees something in you that you most likely don't know exists.
