Thumbs down Big Dogs aren't always smarter!
Ok so another arghhhhhhhhh. I have been delayed in many areas because of my car accident and the time I have to take to go to and fro from the doctors office. So I finished one of my projects that took me HOURS of work and Bigdogs Term'd me for no activity. I fired back a nasty well not so nasty letter telling "brandy" that the term was stupid and I will easily replace with competitor, why do they do that, what did 0 activity cost her????? nothing, now who knows what it would have gained her if she kept me. What a loser.
So my question to the am's out there because I don't know this, what does it cost to have a affiliate who has yet to start producing, BigDogs have not sent me any emails besides the monthly newsletter.

There may be other reasons for dropping you that they chose not to share with you. As an AM myself simply not producing will not get someone dropped from our program.

Be thankful that the AM showed their true colors before you actually wasted your time with them. Onward and upward - advantage the competition.

I just got declined for a program based on Alexa rankings, so there are many clueless managers out there

Those that base on Alexa rankings are absolutely clueless.

All the better for their competitors.

It makes no sense to decline based on Alexa rankings.

A site dedicated to a niche product could have tremendous potential, but have a terrible Alexa score. They could be number 1 on Google for many top key-phrases.

It amazes me at how clueless some AMs are

Jody, just out of curiosity, did you ever get a reply from Brandy? I've sent her a number of emails over the past 4 months and have never once got a reply. She must have all emails from affiliates dumped directly into the trash folder. I even met her boss at CJU and told him about it. If you are interested in contesting their decision, or at least getting a better explanation, he actually does respond:
