    AC Certified Thoughts?
I have seen advertisements for AC Certified in Revenue and was checking out their website. Does anyone have any experience with their training program and if it is worth the cost. I want to get into outsourced program management but feel like I need to learn a few more things about being a manager before I start searching for and getting my first outsourced program.

I would wonder who certified their certifiers since they didn't exist 6 months ago. Anyone can issue a certificate but its value is only as good as the issuer's reputation.

A free consultation with some of the well known OPMs who have been running programs here for years should help you learn what to expect from an alliance.

Yeah, I could care less about the certification. I was more interested in the training. $1500 is a lot of money though and it better be darn good training.

Might want to try a search here on ABW, there are discussions regarding this topic.

I was offered a chance to sit in on a mini training session of theirs at Affiliate Summit. There were things that were good about it and there were several things that I didn't care for. As a result, I honestly can't recommend it. I just didn't feel like there was enough focus on ethics and best practices.

Unfortunately, the only training course I would recommend (Andy Rodriguez's) isn't being offered anymore.

This is an important area in the industry that is very lacking. There is tremendous opportunity to learn here at ABW, but I still think a more directed classroom environment is more effective with many people.
