I know this isn't the right forum to house this question, but I need an answer quickly so I wanted to post this where I know people kinda hang out.

What is up with Google's Sponsored Links saying this:
If your site has more than 5 million searches per month, the Google Sponsored Links Program is for you.

Since when do you have to have 5 million searches to bid on keywords? Or am I reading it wrong?

If anyone can help in the next hour and a half, I would greatly appreciate it!!

I just answered my own question. That's for sponsored links - AdWords are still anyone's game.

They're referring to sites (publishers) that want to add google sponsored links to their search results. Such as Overture results on top of Yahoo search results.

Adwords and Sponsored Links (this requires a minimum monthly spend) are both available to merchants.

    Patrice,

I think the Google Sponsored Links program is the upscale program they have for the heavy hitters. For the rest of us, there are the Ad Sense/Ad Words programs.

I believe they are phasing out that program. If your Adwords bids and CTR are high enough, you get the top spot if there aren't other ads from their past deals.
