Below is an email their reply and my reply to that. It's in reverse order. The only thing I didn't mention there was that the merchant in question (who I trust) also has a program at cj and I was paid there in full every month without any extentions. I only moved the profrom to performics/google because of a datafeed issue.

    ------------------------------------------------------
This is not an acceptable answer. My first problem is that there is no way
on your site to assertain what I have been paid for and what I haven't as I
have lost the email containing that info. All other networks keep running
records of what has been paid and what hasn't. It's really disgraceful that
you don't. But that is besides the point....

All my sales is from one merchant who used to have an independant program
that paid me every month before joining you so I know the merchant is
trustworthy at paying their bills in full and on time.

But on May 2008 I earned commisions of $30.20
    June 2008 I earned a commission of $63.33 (which means that I
should have received a check within 45 days after the end of that month
    August)
    July 2008 I earned a commission of $48.37
    August 2008 I earned a commission of 96.58
    Sept 2008 I earned a commission of 90.65
Oct 2008 I earned a commission of 96.91 and recieved in the middle
of that month a commission check of $144

Looking at the commisisons generated, being that they are all over $50, once
that first check is paided it is reasonable that I get a check every month
from that point forward. If the reasons you haven't paid me is because the
merchant hasn't paid you, then unless you are gauranteeing that I will be
paid, then I expect to be notified that the merchant missed his payment to
you so I can remove their links. Why should I risk not being paid. All
other networks have a mechanism for letting me know merchants who aren't
paying. But this particular merchant I know this isn't the case.

So I want you to have someone who can look at the numbers tell me why I
haven't been paid instead of a generic policy statement which is absurd. No
other network lets a merchant delay 3 months in payments to them and remain
    in good standings.

Please sned a copy of what has been paid so far in the last check of $144.
Explain why I haven't receieved checks totaling at least $328.93 (my
commisisons from may - the end of sept over 60 days ago)
What you are doing to make sure this doesn't happen again. The most
important thing to me obviously is that I get paid every month and that I
receieve my commisison no later than 60 days after they have been earned.
That is what I get on all other networks, that is what I expect from you.

    Mike

That's not besides the point at all. I'm in the same boat, can't find any payment / outstanding commission reports in the GAN interface. But I haven't been using them that long... any experts who can point me in the right direction?

affninja there aren't any, it clearly states that they send you and email with this information before paying you and you must keep it.
    --------------------------------------------------------
I still haven't heard back from them but it is a weekend if that matters. The point of my post is that unlike all the other major networks, it takes months to be paid by the google network and you don't know why payment is being delayed. Two years ago a merchant simply didn't pay them. This went on for months before either the merchant term expired or the network threw them out. They were never paid, thus I was never paid and in the end the merchant/network owe me over $200.

I guess what I'm saying is that being paid in a timely manner by the google network is hit and miss. Maybe if more people complain they will fix this problem.

Complain - I'm a redhead - probably be screaming from the rooftops. I'm glad I read this post as I'd just decided to signup with a merchant on GAN. Now I've decided I'll wait until they get their act together.

Plenty of merchants on other networks where one has a reasonable expectation of getting paid

    Hello,

I have sent your post to the team who can investigate your situation. They will review your email and respond with the particulars. In case they can't locate the email, can you please email or private message me your email address?

    Thank you,

OK, I finally got a reply with actual numbers and I wouldn't have been as mad as I was if there was a way to get this information online. There really is no reason why, what has been and what hasn't been paid been online as well as the listing of checks send.

It seems that I had been paid for commission up until August 31 2008. They didn't address why I wasn't paid for commission earned from Sept 1-Sept 31 (I earned commissions of over$90 in that month, thus it should have been paid.)

From this whole experience and others I have had with dealing with this network, I believe that:
    1) They do pay eventually
    2) They pay slower than any other major network (i.e. cj and sas, others)
    3) It's disgraceful that there is no way to learn online what has been paid along with what checks have been issued. If I would have had this information, I wouldn't have been as mad, although the original email I receieved was also not professional. When a person someplains about not being paid in a timely fashion, someone from accounting should check the situation before sending a generic terms email.
    4) There should be an email every month regarding payment. It should either be the emails they are sending now saying what is being payed or if you are not being paid, there should be another email saying, we won't pay you this month and explain why not. If you ahve earned $35 in commisison, but not the $50 threshhold then they should say that and explain what has cleared and what hasn't.
4b) If I'm not being paid b/c the google network hadn't received payment from the merchant that should be stated too. A while back, a merchant of mine never payed them, and no one told me what was happening so I kept links up that were never going to be paid longer than I should have.

Well that is all I can think of, if anyone else has anything else to add post it. It seems that we found out that there r google people who do monitor the board and Jamie is a person of her word :-)

LinkShare and Google (Performics) have always been like this. It's frustrating to have to wait several months to get paid, and I've had more merchants than I can count go out of business owing me many, many months worth of commissions as a result. That just doesn't happen with the "escrow" model that CJ, SAS, Avantlink, and many other networks use.

It's certainly one factor that makes me prefer other networks over Google and LinkShare.

I really believed when Google bought Performics that they would clean up the front end mess, the back end mess, the payments mess and all the other messes the PF folks had made. The fact that they haven't yet done so makes me wonder if Google intends to flip this property. I don't care whether they do or don't, I only care that it gets fixed.

    FIX IT!
