Do ya know if cloaking / redirecting urls to 1 output URL is frowned upon ?
Do the networks / Merchants not like that when affiliates do it?
i keep reading over and over for SEO - its really good idea to remove all the network links and use a redirect from 1 page...

Some merchants don't allow it (in TOS), but I think most do. One merchant threatened to drop me once, cause they "couldn't tell where the traffic was coming from", I gave in , showed them the redirected links, and removed the redirect.
Most of the larger coupon and comparison sites use redirects and seem to get by ok.
Seo, I've tried links with/without a redirect and never noticed much of a difference rankings wise.

Redirects and nofollow don't really do the same thing, so the "is it better" depends on what exactly you want to do.

Theres no clear answer if its good to redirect / cloak / nofollow aff links ..
so i dunno ..
im going to try redirecting .. I just hope merchants dont give me issues
maybe theres a way I can carry the server.ref ? ugh my head hurts!
update - when using html debugger .. and following the redirects .. theres something that lists Refferer - and it shows the original URL from the Click .. so i guess that really goood
