Talking What I would like for Christmas from PopShops!
What I would like for Christmas from PopShops! Since I have so many shops, a little bit more speed when I have my stats "on" and I am updating my shops.

And one merchant - Amazon. I've written but have never received a response from them.

and I'd like a manual present for the Enterprise version, to see how I could use it if I upgraded my account.

What I would like for Christmas from PopShops is the ability to automatically exclude merchants from the listings that I am not partnered with.

We're not pushing any changes through Christmas to make sure things stay nice and stable, but are noting wishlist items that are sent to support for Q1 of next year.

sfcom, how would you suggest we know who you are partnered with and who you are not partnered with? What if a merchant drops you or you expire the relationship, are you thinking we would know that?

Pretty easy, I would think. Offer a checkbox setup in the PopShops account. Have the ability to check only the merchants that you want to show up in the generated results every single time. (Using both PopShops default store setup and also with the integrated WP plugin.) That way, the user would only have to set this up once and be done with it, unless they drop/add merchants often. Get a merchant dropped you email? Log into PopShops and uncheck them. Seems pretty simple to me.

I use filters to do that. I have some "specialty" filters for small niche sites. But you can also make filters just selecting the merchants, by using the check boxes, that you are promoting.

My mistake then. I use the WP plugin for most of my PS doings. I don't have a clue as to how, but I had been overlooking the ability to use filters there.

    OOPS!

    Sorry about that.

I love for the links in the dashboard to change color when visited. This way when I'm going through my shops looking for "no image" placeholders (things that don't show up as inactive) I'd know which shops I had checked.

Checkboxes on the merchant page would be the easiest I suppose. But I wonder if it would be possible to have a "test all merchants" button? A spider could test all links with your ids and see what happens, return the results in another column "bot verified" or not verified. That would be a great simplification of the process.

Whatever the method, after the database has the info active, or inactive... (maybe pending would be nice too) It would be cool to see the list in shopbuilder switchable, and also have different color fonts for your merchant status.
Sure you can set up a filter for your merchants. But that is a long process to do one filter. Then if you want to modify for different situations you are starting from square one again.

I'm still waiting for an "add all" button.
An autofeed/replace with related product that can be filtered so it won't show unrelated products even with "narrow".
An end to those frightening PHP errors when the Popshops server is down. Yes, I can hack my plugin, but I'd rather not have to.

Anything to make Pop Shops load faster. It's really a problem waiting far too long for anything on the site to load.

I agree that folders and the ability to select *only* our merchants by a check box (or better yet, JazzyLee's suggestion) would be great, too.
    Peace,

I'd love for a visual in the merchant list that shows if I have something from that merchant in the shop I'm working on. Even a pretty pink (NON-flashing) star would help.

Also a click to Show Shop Merchants, toggling the list of only those merchants that have product in that particular shop.

I think it would be great to have a merchant control panel in addition to filters. Filters are so slow to manage and process. A checkbox list would be a dream come true.

    Oh yes - and folders!

    And sale prices, of course

Give the shoppers option to sort the products by price (low to high, or high to low) please!

If it hasn't been added since the last time I asked, I'd like to be able to delete one merchant from all of my shops with a click of a button.

    Folders would also be nice.

In the Products tab on dashboard, you can delete one merchant's products from all shops. Find them on the dropdown menu, and delete in one click.

    Yes, folders would be fantastic.

The ability to shift/select more than one item and reposition them. You can shift/select several items to delete, but not to move. Rearranging items gives the appearance of an updated page and when you want to rotate items from the bottom of 25-30 rows, it's tedious.

    1) Images that load correctly (Size) the first time (I am using asp)
    2) Faster Servers & loadtimes
    3) Folders
    4) Better Support System (at least for paid Account Users)
