And since we have no where to go. One of the great thing about being an affiliate is that it can snow and since you work at home you don't have to go out into it.

They say it might snow up to a foot here in NYC and I'm loving it. Of course this is pretty early in the year.

Brrr! Glad it's not *here* even though I wouldn't have to go out in it. There's a little snow threatened, which sucks bad enough, but a FOOT?! Double-eewww...

Although I'll have my telefoto camera ready for when it *does* sn*w a lot. Pictures of the neighbors cleaning off their cars so they can go to WORK would be a great addition to leaders-site, muaa haa haa...

It's the most wonderful time of the year!~Old Christmas Song

Kind of disappointed that it is passing mostly south of here. I work from home and none of my business depends on snow. But my friends that run businesses in Lake Placid depend on it.

We've already had several storms. After 10 inches fell, we had some temps go up into the 60's and got some late canoeing and fishing in just before Thanksgiving.

Got the snowshoes out and studded tires on the mountain bike. You just got to know how to prepare!

We have 8 inches that fell overnight here! I already went out and built a snowman ( by myself!) it is six feet tall and weighs a ton! Kids are out of school, and I have hot chocolate heating... My kids always get to bake chocolate chip cookies and drink hot chocolate when it snows , so they are extra happy!

I'm so excited to see snow when I go home to Wisconsin for Christmas! It's supposed to be 75 here today.

I HATE the snow. I have never seen so much snow in my entire life.
I now live in Vermont, and we get TONS of snow up here.
I am from England, and it hardly ever snowed where I lived. I am so glad that I work at home and do not have to go out in the snow (only to get the mail, but I enjoy doing that when there are checks)
In Vermont, there will be snow on the ground from now until mid April

Current Temp here is 22F with a wind chill of 13F. Looks like it might be getting close to wintertime soon Only an inch or 2 on the ground though.

I MISS SNOW!! I grew up in Rochester, NY...I've been here in FL for 15 years. It snowed once here, about 10 years ago. Nothing stuck to the ground but I loved seeing it again.

Today's expected high: 62. Tonight it's supposed to drop to 32. It'll be a chilly night in sunny NW Florida.

Here in Northern MI we have a car dealership running a promotion on all their used cars right now.

If you buy a used car between now and Dec 21st and then if is snows more than 7 inches on Jan. 1, you will get you car for free, they will pay for it.

Won't is suck for them if they sell 20 or 50 used cars and it snows like a mother? *LOL* Though I am sure they have some sort of insurance policy or something just in case.

    Heyder,

Thanks for the crossed fingers. Since you are right there in WI, maybe you have some pull!
Dying to go fishing. Don't care if it's ice fishing or shore fishing, just want to fish. Also want to see snow, so wish me luck!

The hot air turns the snow to rain

    Shoremark:

I remember that, four or 5 years ago, I forget which there was a blizzard of 20 inches over 2 days and it happened to happen on that promotion day. Lots of people thought they would get a free car. The winning amount was 10 inches. Then the fine print came out, it seems that it said it had to be 10 inches from 10 am to 10 pm on that certain day. I don't remember how much actually fell, but needless to say no one got a free car.

Promotions causes me more bad will than good will with most companies.

How much snow did NYC end up getting? I haven't been watching the news lately.

It was supposed to hit us but all we got was some rain. I hope it stays away, we're going on vacation soon and I want to be able to get out of here without being hit by a snow storm!

Don't know about NYC, but here in Beantown we've got about 6 inches and they are saying the heaviest snowfall will be coming later this afternoon.

Boy I wish it would snow here. I think the last time we had any was in '94 or '95. Had about a foot that stuck for a day or two.
