    It looks like this fellow had a major lapse of judgement! It goes without saying that propane tanks, torches, and wood porches don't mix! Now, I can see that maybe one would fail to realize that the vinyl siding on their house would be extremely flammable, sometimes we tend to over-look the obvious. But still, the whole situation spelled disaster from the start. Propane torches have their uses, but fooling around melting snow off your porch is not one of them!

    Well, $30k is much less the economic impact this recession is having on many people.
