How many of you are working over Christmas Day and New Year?
I know I am. Half my sites are not finished yet and I have to get them ready for the New Year sales...

I will be working Xmas Day and New Year Day...

    Will anyone else be about?

I'll be around in the morning Xmas day. In the afternoon we're off to MIL's for Christmas dinner, assuming the weather permits (we're expecting another wintry mix).

When you have been doing this a while, you probably never really take a day off. I am always doing something affiliate related, every day

I've got the next 5 days off from my real job. So, I'll be putting some site work time in on the computer. I do most of my serious site work in the mornings and tend to fiddle around with them in the evenings. I probably won't do much Christmas day other than watch football and eat. Got some things to do around the house that I've put off.

Yup. I'll be doing something or other both Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Our kids will be over for a late Christmas dinner around 4 p.m. On New Year's Day we never do anything more special than sleeping in, so I'll be doing something affiliate related then, too.

I see it much as Julian does -- I rarely actually take a "day off" from affiliate marketing work of some sort. Throw in the blogging I do, and the concept of "day off" has sort of lost its meaning.

Now if I could just make some MONEY at it ...

I may be updating a few sites on xmas day in the afternoon while waiting for dinner guests to arrive, and New Years day will depend on how much I partake of the festivities the nite before, I just may be resting with a bottle of Tylenol.

I am always doing something. And my "work" is my passion, so rarely a day goes by that I am not doing something related to the internet, or to photography.

So of all the regular members who post here, I wonder who celebrates new year first.

Isn't New Zealand first? Do we have any members from New Zealand?

I have 13 1/2 glorious days left of my vacation from the day job. During that time, I may or may not "work" (I probably will) on my websites, but like Loxly said.. it's not really work if you enjoy it.

Russia occupies 1/6th of the Earth’s surface, and you forgot about it!! Thank you, Julian!

I'll be working parts of the Christmas Day and the New Year's. Will take most of these days off, but will be accessible throughout the day (will reply to phone, and e-mails).

I will be working on finishing up my new site over the holidays. This site is all about affiliate marketing/events in the States and will be written in Japanese - targeting Japanese people in the States as well as in Japan. It will be a lot of work, but I will have fun doing it!

In my old career, I lived for weekends and holidays - away from the horrors of everyday.

From late 2000 when I started in this biz, until the beginning of this past summer, I spent virtually every day at the computer; weekdays, weekends, holidays, they were all the same. The past few months other matters have taken me away from home for much of almost every day, until about two weeks ago, and I am very glad, and very happy, to be back close to full time at the computer, and I will enjoy my holidays at the computer, working on sites, and blogging, and creating, .....

New Years is not a holiday to me anymore so I'll have nothing but work to do.

It's already 2.5 hours into Christmas Eve and I'm busy brainstorming for new projects. After I go to sleep and wake up I probably won't work for the rest of the day but don't quote me on that.

Christmas, I'll put a few hours in. It never stops.

Well, out of the 365 days on a normal year, I always take my birthday day off, no matter what!

I don't want to brag but..., since you ask...

Today is the 24th of December, and I am already celebrating the new year.

Why wait for 7 more days?

The way I see it, I can be run over by a reindeer on Christmas just like grandma, so why take a chance on that, I don't like eggnog anyway...
