I was too when I put my first one up. They will help you get it going. If you can do css and a little html that's enough to make it work.

I believe you can use MS Office, and Info Path if my feble memory is correct.
I'm sure others know how.Where's the Great Life of Affiliate Marketing Hiding?

The domain would be hosted on a UNIX server with php installed. You can have more than one domain.

Been a couple of days .. is it safe to say .. no ASP Verison of the datafeed client will be available?

Happy New Year. Sorry it took a while to answer your question. Right now we do not plan to offer an ASP version of the datafeed client web service.
As a possible solution for you....have you taken a look at our Affiliate API? Although it's not a packaged client, you could do similar things and use whatever server side language you would like.
If you have any specific questions on the API please email support/at/avantlink.com and someone will get back to you promptly.
Thanks! Gary M

Ok so i gave in .. I found a PHPISAPI for IIS 5 ..
I have the basic page loading (shop.php) .. but .. the URL or ROOT URL is pointing to my domain name ,, but not the URL that is noted in the dataclient generator? Is there any way to change it to use the site URL thats listed under your account ? or like when your doing the Datafeed client .. that Drop down selection where it lists your sites ..
What i use
Do I have to set this up somewhere?

I am traveling for a few days, and to be honest I'm not sure what you mean.
Could you email support/at/avantlink.com, or open a ticket? Someone from the support team will be happy to help you out.

And to give some detail of my problem - for anyone maybe reading this thead -
When I'm using the dynamic dataclient
The Navigation will use just the root domain...
My site for Aff related stuff isnt on the root domain / its on a sub folder ..
So if i was to use the dynamic dataclient on
The Navigation wont work ..
if you have it on the root
it works fine
I'm just trying to figure out how to change that so it works on a sub folder!

Support can help you out better than I can, but I do know I originally needed to make a new directory for the includes and another directory for each shop. The URI ends up as http://www.domain.com/merchant/shop/shop.html using straight php with AddHandler. Your setup is very likely different with a IIS server. Maybe try making a directory for the client and one for the shop template inside your domain.com/stores directory?
With AvantLink the fastest way to get help is to email support at avantlink com. Umm they don't work weekends though.

So i have .. Succesfuly been able to use "PHP" inside ASP!!!
But im running into problems with the CSS thats auto plugged in the dataclient code ..
Is there a option to have no CSS ?
If not, I can do replacements of text - that just gonna take a while on my side!
Also - because of the way im doing the intergration - the "REF" tag thats for the clickthrus doesnt show the whole URL of the page its coming from ..
Would that be a issue ?
And lastly - on the product pages, for the reviews .. theres a image that I dont have locally "images/0stars.png" - i assume this is for ratings..
Is this suppose to be for me to pick whatever images? or was this suppose to be on your servers somewhere .. right now its coming up with a big X because its trying to load from my server and i dont have that image(s)...OpA! Giasou Ti kanies!

The default setting for the css are supposed to be set by you on your css file. A list of the settings to adjust is included with the client but you need to alter that to fit your site for it to look good. The 0stars.png is totally new to me, they keep improving things, lol. You should send a note to support at avantlink com to get specific answers like that.
I guess it is time for me to set up a new merchant and find out what's new
