I stopped making New Year resolutions a long time ago. I came to the conclusion if I need to make one I should do it when needed and not wait until a new year to do it.

Yep, 20+ years ago I made a new years resolution to never make another new years resolution. It's the only one I ever kept.

I've been in contact via e-mail with someone I've had a crush on but haven't seen for 20 years

In my last e-mail to him before Christmas I wrote: "Let's see each other sometime in 2009."

Thanks, actually I'll need some luck
This guy is "Mr. elusive" -- I've been trying to "track him down" for years and "got lucky" two years ago with the right e-mail address -- we like each other but he's so devoted to his business that he never married.
I didn't marry either so we have something in common

superCool doesn’t usually do these either, but maybe it’s time to try again?

    #1 – AM income > 10% job income (150% would be better)
#2 – stop yelling so much (in bed)
#3 – give up 3rd person speak (superCool says huh-uh)
#4 - stop being Mr. Elusive (come on rhia7)
#5 - be even more cooler

Ah, right. I see that now. Was looking through dirty bifocals while polishing off a bottle of Crown - a double haze for me...thanks for straightening all that out for me.

I'm starting to feel better now

One of my responsibilities at buy.at includes weighing in on potential merchants to assist in determining if they would be a good fit for our affiliate partners.

I have a note hung up on my desk to remind me of my main focus (not that I could forget!). It says "Why is this merchant worthy of our affiliate partners' quality, targeted traffic?"

I resolve never to lose that focus, in 2009 and beyond.
