No, but I know a lot of firefox fans that would build sites that way if they thought about it

It doesn't look like there is any reason it wouldn't run in IE, except that the site admins don't want anyone using IE.

It makes sense for this site. It's a php site and open source programmers don't care much for the ole microsoft

I would probably use firefox more, but it seems like I have trouble enough reading without having to squint like I do when using FF.
I looked at this forum last night using different browsers and IE7 still seemed to be a lot easier to read. Tried changing the font types but didn't seem to make any difference. Wheater on one of the crts or on the lcd.

I hate to admit I switch back and forth between browsers a lot

I've been programming for years and doing the e-com thing forever and still have never been very loyal to any browser

although it has been a long time since I've opened netscape .... surprising I know

Yes, that was my favorate for a long time. AOL had one out years ago. Don't know as they still do or not. Prodigy also had one.
I need to invest in a mac, but haven't done that yet.
Opera is nice for its ftp capabilities, maxthon2 so so.

Just click CTRL+ and the font size is increased in FF, or you can use your own CSS file and override the page's CSS so that one font and size is used for eveything. In the latter case you may be disappointed at the appearance of many pages but the CTRL+ usually doesn't mess up a page, just increases the size of the fonts.
