    AffiliateTrust.org "THE LIST"
I call it THE LIST which so doesn't do it justice. There actually needs to be a drum roll and a Ta-Dah when it's said.

THE LIST is a monumental first phase project at the Affiliate Trust. In the near term, everything we do will revolve around THE LIST. THE LIST contains not only merchant names, but a lot more pieces of information that will be of great interest to Internet marketers. A group of Affiliate Trust volunteers are diligently working to put THE LIST together initially. Without divulging secrets, THE LIST will be fairly self sustaining and never stale. One AT goal is to maintain the most comprehensive resource if current all encompassing Internet marketing information available.

I said that to say this, there is a group of fellow affiliates putting a lot of time into this first project. Expediency is of the utmost importance. The sooner we can put together THE LIST, the sooner we can begin to use it.

In the latest "big thread" there was a lot of head nodding about wanting to do something and a lot of not knowing what to do. Whether you believe the AT future efforts will relieve us of some of the parasites or not, THE LIST will be a great affiliate resource regardless. Volunteers are needed to take letters and do a little menial work in populating the database. This is easy work you can do in the comfort of your desk chair that will benefit all of us.

So who'll take RSTLN and a couple vowels... Your Spin!

Really? I'm kind of sick of people thinking it's okay to steal my commissions.

This thread opened perhaps a little overly exuberant, and may look more like one of those late night electronics surplus store commercials, but here's the gist of it. If everyone wants to complain about the parasites but then just stands around watching them take over the industry, they may as well get a job and work for someone else.

I'm doing something about it and people are beginning to step up and help. I'm not saying I have the answer, I have an idea, and I'm taking a direction and I'll likely find the answer along the way. I WON'T find it by standing around and watching.

Ed, I feel your frustration! I think I'll check out that link you're offering there. Maybe I'll find more information on how I can help.
