Are .biz or .org good domains ?

I would like to know your opinions on .biz and .org domains .

If you want to do brand-building, then avoid them.. there's too much scope to be confused with a .com name (and the .com could be trademarked, or the owner might claim that the registration is abusive).
I would suggest always buying a .com if you can. One exception is when you are outside the US when national domains are just as important, e.g. .co.uk, .de, .ca etc.
However, if you are not interesting in brand building and are just aiming to move visitors on quickly then it doesn't really matter what domain you use (within reason! Something like ripoffshop.com might not work well for you).

LOL, ripoffshop.com is available. The only other one I've used is .info because it was .99cents and I needed a cheap name to throw up some junk that I didn't care much about. If you look at a lot of word happy domains, it looks like lots of people register .net too.

Oh yes, .info domains are really good for a throwaway project.
The alternative is to go for something clever and an unusual top level domain. del.icio.us is a good example of this. There must be others.. hmmm... oh yes: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domain_hack
