    Google Page Rank of WebSite
    Hi,

    Google Page Rank of my web site was 1 (one) last week but suddenly now it went to zero.

    Pl advise.

    Hello. Search on pagerank and you will probably come to the conclusion that it's not important. However, the answer to your question is "who knows".

    I would recommend not to focus on Google pagerank. Just make sure your site isn't being banned on penalized from Google. If it is still showing up in Google, thats what you should care about. I've had sites that had a PR 0 that was generating decent traffic through Google. Focus on building a good site and good content, getting good links into your site and pagerank will follow in time, although it isn't that important.

    I agree. so don't waste your time on thinking about PR.

    I agree that you should not dwell on your Google page rank but I must admit that as an AM I do notice it. It doesn't outweigh the relevancy of the site to bring in potential customers and I recognize it is flawed. Still, if the site "feels" dead and the ranking is non-exsitent......well it isn't a happy sign.
