GNC.com Affiliate Program Live On The Linkshare Network!
    Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let everyone know that the GNC.com affiliate program is migrating over to Linkshare from Google. The Google program will be closed on 2.16.09. Be sure to switch out all links before then!

We have some great offers going on in the Linkshare program:

15% off Entire orders until 2.28.09

20% Off All Boxes of Bars until 2.28.09

Buy One Get One 50% Off On Select Items until 2.28.09

Free Brookstone Massager with any $50 Purchase - Code BUZZ09

Free Brookstone Heart Rate Ring with any $50 Purchase - Code RING09

Additionally we are offering you a flat 12% commission thru 2.16.09! Please opt into offers 28.1 or 30.1!

Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to working with you!

    Thanks!

Why move to LS of all the networks. What's your stance about parasites like OneCause. Are you going to have them in your program. If so you may want to post here and it will save us affiliates from applying to your pgm.

From GAN to Linkshare?!?! This is truly a sad day for GNC and all of its' affiliates.

    Edit: Too harsh
Stop blaming the parasites, low return days, cookie stuffers, networks, lousy AMs, and TOOLBARS!

Well there goes one less merchant where I can automate the coupons/promotions. Nice move. Not!

Yup. Why did you move to LinkShare? It seems like an incredibly bad choice. Did you not do your research?
Merchants, any data you provide to Google Shopping should also be in your affiliate network datafeed. More data means more sales!

Ah, I was wondering why I got the terms have updated email from ls yesterday about GNC, since I had them at GAN. Yeah, don't like the move either. Going to my least favorite major network.

It would seem that this move is in the best interest of the program manager.. not GNC, its affiliates, or share-holders..

After that it looks like it goes to 8-12% and 12% is for sales over $20,000. GAN was a flat 11%.

Ok, going thru the links and they're a mess already:

Get Free Shipping On Orders over $50 at GNC.com
    (Free shipping with purchase of $50 or more)Valid between 13-Jan-2009 - 19-Dec-2013

Get Free Shipping On Any Order at GNC.com
(Free Shipping On Any Order At GNC)Valid between 13-Jan-2009 - 19-Dec-2013

Which one is the correct one? Also remember with Linkshare, you have to fix the dates on these links because they did an unwise thing awhile back and just blanketed the links with some made up future date, which make things even more of a mess.

    Also above you have:
15% off Entire orders until 2.28.09

And in the links area there's:
Get 10% Off $75 Pluse Free Shipping at GNC.com
    (10% Off $75 plus free shipping at GNC.com)Valid between 13-Jan-2009 - 19-Dec-2013

Get 15% Off $100 Plus Free Shipping at GNC.com
    (15% Off $100 plus free shipping at GNC.com)Valid between 13-Jan-2009 - 19-Dec-2013

    Are those valid too?

    2013?
    Are you sure about that?

http://www.gsicommerce.com/index.php/en/article/748/ - That would explain the move to Linkshare. It looks like GSI uses Linkshare for affiliate programs where GSI is the AOR for the account.
