    Infringement of KRISPY KREME Trademarks

I received a letter concerning this issue, the only place I found KRISPY KREME on my site was for a StickerGiant button.

Delete your link just to be safe.

I will contact Jon and let him know what’s up.

    UPDATE:

I spoke with the law firm, basically remove all links and reply to confirm links removed. Explain you are an affiliate not a merchant or manufacture. They will also be serving you through the US mail.

If you can clear it up fast you should receive a letter confirming your compliance!

    Herb,

It’s my understanding they did not have permission. The attorney had no idea about the affiliate portion as to why all these sites maintained the infringement. Hopefully I cleared it up for them.

Thank you. I can picture a back room in a lawyer's office full of computers and a herd of temps shouting aha!

I like to look at my logs once in a while to see from whence people come. Many law offices with a specialty in intellectual property have shown up over the years. I'd like to think that 99% of my legal eagle visitors know when to push the button and when not.

I have a real call for an embroidered cloth patch with Betty Boop on a Motorcycle. Some day I'll find a legal source. Meanwhile I have to poke and grit.*
