Submitted a trouble ticket to ebates on 11/25 and it is still being shown as active. HOw long has it been taking ebates to act on these?

Has anyone that has had ebates put them on their "do not parasite" list seen any improvement in sales?

"....Has anyone that has had ebates put them on their "do not parasite" list seen any improvement in sales?" ....NOPE sales way off from last years holiday period.

Removal of the merchnat's "place coupon code here" box would jump my sales by 100%

It took them a few weeks on mine.

My sales are up (it is Christmas).

A better question might be whether people have seen less overwriting (for those who bother to test).

I've only seen overwritting on serverside redirects that do NOT have affsrc=1 appended and they are "allowed" to do that under the CoC.

Does this mean the links that you create on your own in cj to go to special pages on a merchants site need the affsrc=1?

    Cazzie,

As long as they contain qksrv.net, there is no need to, only if your linkouts look like:

    http://www.mysite.com/redirect?offerid=12345

Then &afsrc=1 should be appended to the link.

This rule holds true for any bfast.com, cc-dt.com, qksrv.net or commission-junction.com links.

    From the CoC:

quote:
This 'afsrc' parameter option is provided to address the case where affiliates modify or mask the links provided to them from the affiliate service providers and it becomes impossible to determine that they are affiliate links based on their appearance.
