Help with CJ ID insert into data feed.
I got a raw data feed from a Merchant.

Merchant page URL looks like this:

    ht tp://www.bobsbuns.com/one-dozen-big-buns/1544/102133

What code do I need to add to this and how should it look after I add my CJ affiliate ID number and what ever else I need to add.

    Thanks

Maybe you need to learn a LOT more about datafeeds and how to use them before you worry about it. I recommend you read a ton of stuff here and do a lot of Internet searching about datafeeds and using them to create databases/tables on your server.

There really is no easy, simple, single answer to your question.

And, by the way, the merchant link you gave above doesn't work. When I tried to guess at the merchant you intended, I got a "site under construction" page.

    Writerguy,

Maybe you need to learn a LOT more about manners before you make a sarcastic remark.
Looks like the only one worrying about it, is you.
And, by the way, no one asked you to guess the merchants name.

I would tell you to grow up, but itís apparent that you missed that stage.

Nothing sarcastic intended. Sorry it came off that way.

I was simply trying to say that your question didn't make sense to me. The experience I and many others here have had with datafeeds involves much more than putting an ID on the end of a URL, and I wasn't clear at all on what you were asking help for.

I'm not even sure what that means? As for "worrying about it" -- relax. I'm not worried at all. And from your lack of response from anyone else, I would guess few have figured out what you're trying to ask about -- making it hard for any of us to offer help.

Actually, you DID give a supposed merchant link, and I was merely pointing out that there was no way I could go to that link. Hence, not being able to see the example you were offering in your OP.

What are you, about 13 years old?? My gosh, I haven't heard such an over-the-top nasty reaction from a newbie here in -- well, pretty much, ever??

If you're going to post asking for help or suggestions, you really need to calm down a bit. If you aren't interested in someone trying to figure out what you are asking and offer help, you probably aren't going to find much help here.

Have a good weekend, and I assure you if I 1) understood what you were asking and how it relates to datafeeds, and, 2) had a suggestion, I would offer it.

    Otherwise, pardon me for trying.

CJ has set up a webservices platform. I have experience setting up affiliate ads using their services. You really need to use that platform to insure you get proper credit.
