    This Year's Superbowl Commercials
For those that missed them, want to see them again. There's a few places that have them but this is a good one - http://www.myspace.com/thebiggame

The godaddy ones aren't rating so well.

Overall, I think this was the worst group ever for a Super Bowl - I only saw a very few that I thought were actually any good, and most were pretty bad.

I saw a lots of boring movie ads, and a ton of network promotions. And as soon as the game ended, a bunch of really rinky-dink stuff.

Did they have trouble selling all the ad spots?

Seems like it. I've seen all 43 Super Bowls on TV and I never remember so may movie trailers instead of product ads.

I read recently [can't seem to find it] that the ad agencies don't run good ads beginning in the 4th quarter because they think everyone is too drunk by then.

The CareerBuilder one was the best, the Budweiser clydesdale ads were way to emo, Godaddy - insulting and Doritos ones, purely idiotic.

    Great Game though

I didn't watch the entire game but I did like the Clydesdale commercials and I am not Emo. But I do like horsies.

Right, most women loved the ad and I don't see a high uptick in bud's female market because of it, thus the ad was to "emo" for the target demographic to accept or like it.

I'm sorry I should have qualified my statement better.

Once again, my vote for best SB commercials goes to eTrade.

I agree ... no really great commercials this year. Loved the Heroes ad with Elway, though. :-)

    And yeah, GREAT game!

I have to second that, Rexanne. The little kid in the eTrade commercials cracks me up every time.

Elway Heroes and The Bob Dylan Will.I.Am Pepsi were my favorites (I always like the Clydsdales although my favorite of the three this year was "Fetch")

I thought the Career Builder one was the only good one, too many network and movie promotions. Thank God the game was great, would have been a boring super hype.

By the way, Bruce was awesome. Much better than the Rolling Stones.

The Doritos "Crystal Ball" ad was made by a couple of guys for $2,000. First, they got $25,000 for being 1 of 5 finalists then they got 1 million dollars because it was voted best ad - http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/28982084 So they beat all the professional ad agencies.
