I don’t know if this is a new or old scam but thought I’d let everyone know. I received this very real looking PayPal email asking me to update my information. When you click on the provided link you are redirected to an in-depth form to fill out. It all looks real.
The email text reads as follows:
Dear paypal user, We would like to inform you that we are upgrading our server to install a better protection software. So please click here and fill in the registration form again to renew your account. Paypal Administration.
PayPal reports the following:
At PayPal, protecting your account's security is our top priority. Recently, PayPal members have reported suspicious-looking emails and fake websites. These emails are not from PayPal and responding to them may put your account at risk. Please protect your PayPal account by paying close attention to the emails you receive and the websites you visit.
I apologize if this is an old issue.

It's the old 2fer scam going around. The phishers (spoofed sites) spam accounts with a user name generator @paypal.com even mask the landing page using a script showing your at paypal.com (when your on pakiland100213.com) and steal both your identity and your account log-in for a quick wire transfer.
