    Marketing Question
I received an email today which was a marketing proposal. It said in part,

"Our marketing proposal is unique in that our goal is to achieve top search engine rankings organically driving you targeted traffic completely on rev-share."

This sounds to me kinda like they want to be an affiliate of mine, doesn't it? It sounds like they want to create SEO'd pages and use them to drive traffic. Or do they just want to do SEO on my page?

Any way to know if this company is ethical and legit? Or what kinds of questions I should be asking them to find out? I tried searching on ABW and throughout the interwebs, but I was unable to come up with much of anything on this particular company.

They should just join affiliate programs of their choice.

Why would they offer to help you?

I'm a merchant. But I can't quite tell if they want to be an affiliate, or if what they're proposing is something different.

    Sorry I misunderstood.
Sounds like they should be an affiliate.
Where is your AM program located?

Yeah, it kinda sounded like that to me, too, but I wasn't sure.

    Our program is with SAS.

I get between 200 and 500 such emails every day. If any of them are legit they haven't found a useful way to distinguish themselves sufficiently that I can find them on the web or anywhere other than my spambin.
