    Paid within 30 days right?
I wonder if their enforcement of the collection of tax info is holding them up.

I wonder if commenting on non-payment is a violation of the infamous Google TOS?

The checks tend to get mailed out later than the check date, but earlier than the date that they appear in reports.

For all we know they may well have been mailed on Friday. We may not see payment in reports for another day or two.

They could save themselves a lot of effort if I could feed the AdSense payments into my AdWords account and not have to muck around with these antique bits of paper.

Okay, got the reply from google about adsense payments

We appreciate your concern regarding payment for October earnings.
Unfortunately, there are slight delays for October payments due to the
U.S. Thanksgiving holiday. Your check for $XXX will be mailed shortly.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Google is always working to provide
the highest level of service to you, and we thank you for your patience in
    this matter.

well, thanksgiving wont be the only delay. They have to sort through all those that sent their w-9 forms in. I did mine elctronically, and received a confirmation by email. They can't say I didnt send mine in. BTW, I have done well with CJ today, but I did better with adsense! Some of you network strategists/management types need to pay heed.

    No payment info yet.

Y'know, if any other program but Google pulled the crap they do, we would hang them out to dry--no tracking to speak of, poor reporting interface, long payment duration, high minimum payment, strong-arm compliance tactics, and now, LATE PAYMENTS with no excuse except that Thanskgiving was in this month. Well, duh! Ever heard of a calendar? Let's you look ahead a few days so you can get your act together? (I notice, too, that they had no problem pulling my Adwords payment out of my bank account the day after Thanksgiving.)

Why does Google get a free pass on this? They haven't done a thing to deserve one.

    I agree TZU,

This is to the point of being unacceptable, day for and not even a posting about what is cuasing the issue.

Thanksgiving MY ASS - they did not set up the interface to accept and sort the DAMN W-9's is all it is.

Another day, no Google payment. They are now on the deadbeat list. Maybe it's time they got a a little heat for their arrogance and sloth.

Has anyone received any other information concerning the non-payment status?

I received that auto generated email stating its all the fault of thanksgivings, but that’s it.

Thanks to you - it's quite a nice sum...

    Hot off the press -

    Hello,

The AdSense team would like to let you know that payments for
October's earnings have been delayed, due to engineering changes
to our payment processing system in combination with the U.S.
Thanksgiving holiday. Checks for all qualifying publishers should be
sent out before the end of next week.

We realize that this delay is an inconvenience to all of our
publishers, and we would like to sincerely apologize to you. Please
be assured that we are working hard to ensure that this does not
    happen again in the future.

Thank you kindly for your understanding. Please feel free to contact
us at adsense-support@google.com with any questions or
    comments.

They are five days late, at the very least. Since they send payments only after procesing a payment date, this means they will be 10 days late at least.

Why why am I so stoked about this? Because they are heavy-handed ***s about the way they treat affiliates, closing accounts for minor infractions of the TOS and then keeping commissions. There is no appeals process.

Therefore, I believe they are obligated to STRICTLY adhere to their own TOS. Payment is due within thirty days of the end of the month. Period.

I have a feeling this thread is going to get a "lot" longer. A lot of webmasters expecting their Adsense checks to pay for biz/ad expenses + christmas gifts are not going to be happy elves with this news.

    A curious question,

Did there engineerng department get paid last month?

Hopefully they did not, if they can not pay affiliates they need to make sure they PAY NO ONE!

We need to get it out on the news that next month no one has to pay for there adwords for 5-10 days or longer wihtout word, yet demand the exact same exposure!
