February 9th, 2009, 01:56 PM #1Bare Necessities - No Sales
I always made several sales a week with Bare Necessities (LS) however mid December was the last time I had a sale with them.
I just wondering if anyone else has seen a big drop in sales for them??

I used to promote them. Dropped them when I realized they are in all of the "Parasite" programs (One Cause, Ebates, UPromise, ect.) out there. No sense sending customers if there is a good chance they will be hijacked to another site.

kse - sorry for not replyin to this earlier.
I can't comment for 2009 tho. This is one of them sites I keep goin back and forth with in my mind Outa all the merchants on that particular page of my site I've had the most sales with them. (definitely not several a week like you, tho....those numbers only in my dreams. lol ) Have had a fair amount scattered in time since I've been with em and those sales I did have were actually ummmm realllly pretty good sales. Don't know when last sale was without goin into LS and lookin.......please don't make me do that lol Is soooooo time consuming there. lol
But.......reason I keep goin back and forth in my mind is cos they are associated with quite a few of the bad guys I think (least last I checked) if just one of the other merchants on that page would give em a bit of competition with sales would be an easy choice. All I can say is they have converted for me in the past......but also have needed an awful lotta clicks to get those conversions (which isn't usually the case for me for whatever reason) have not gotten any sales for some time tho. Don't know if that's just due to the economy (altho.....would hope people wouldn't stop wearin undies lol I know.....they'd just get cheaper ones ) or ummm other bad reasons.
They're one of them sites that just give me another site to even show a teeny bit of competition or hope and I'll drop em cos think there should be a lot more sales from them then there are.
Sorry, not much help lol

Thanks purplebear I understand the Parasite concerns everyone has with them but for all sales to all of a sudden to stop and no one here (yet) has said they have made a sale in 2009 makes me wonder if they have stopped reporting affiliate sales, I am assuming that possible.

Have had some sales last year but haven't sent them enough traffic this year to know much.
