Google OK With Pay Per Post, If You're Google And In Japan
Thought this was kind of funny - http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/02/09...ahoo-in-japan/

So Japan has the 3rd largest internet population and Yahoo is beating Google (51.2% - 39%) in search over there, didn't know that.

Those pages are crowded, and in some search engines/websites in Asia, they have blinking banners and they just love it.

Actually, the co.jp and .com versions of Yahoo's site are quite similar in content. And, even though one is in a language I know nothing about, I find them equally hard to read.

I've always loved the debate over PayPerPost. I've written plenty of blog posts with affiliate links to products I'm talking about, but have never actually used a PPP site like Izea or the like. Not for any reason other than it just doesn't appeal to me. The way I see it, if a blog I read regularly throws in a paid post once in a while, I'm likely not going to care (or notice). If a blog starts using paid posts on a regular basis, it's going quickly become a blog I no longer read.
