We might be hitting the casinos in Biloxi. We haven't decided yet if the drive over is worth the crowds of people we'll have to endure.

More than likely, we'll stay home like usual, watch a movie with the kids, pop open a bottle of sparkling non-alcoholic cider (the kids love this part), listen to the neighbors doing fireworks, and then hit the sack. Exciting isn't it? lol

The thought of being where it's warm enough to go outside and shoot off fireworks for New Year's is WONDERFUL! Absolutely wonderful!

Think we are gonna cook up a prime rib, baked potatoes, steamed veggies, rolls, etc and pig out. Then we will most likely play games with the kids.

Heck the noise will just be getting started around midnight and go on for hours. Thought I might take a sleeping pill so I could sleep through it, but then they might burn the house down. I am praying for heavy rain at 12:30 so they will all go back inside. The cold doesn't stop them.

Running around the French Quarter. It's what I love about living in the heart of the city! I could walk there if I REALLY wanted to, it's only just over a mile away. But I'll probably hop on the Street Car. No driving for me!

Leader, I'm in shorts right now, last night I was seriously considering turning on the air conditioner, but a front came through today, so we're back in the 50's.

Why does it have to be warm, Leader? The weather forecast for New Year's Eve is going to be -5 here in Denmark and that won't stop anyone.

My husband and I usually climb up a hill in the middle of the forest at midnight where we have a panorama view from Copenhagen all the way north up the coast and across the sound to Sweden to see the most spectacular fireworks display. It usually lasts non-stop for more than half an hour when we finally get too cold and head home. An incredible show courtesy of thousands of people who don't mind burning off a lot of money in a short time.

Dinner with my husband in Old City, a brisk walk to South Street, party at a friend's house, watching fireworks over the Delaware River from her roof deck, dodge drunks on the Schuylkill Expressway, home, pet dog, scratch cat, stumble to bed. Wake up on New Years and watch the MUMMERS - back on Broad Street where they belong! I love Philly.

I think my roommate and I will gamble a bit at the casinos on the strip and then watch the fireworks with 200,000 other people right in the streets. Hope its not too crowded.

It won't be warm here New years eve (upper 30s), but these folks would try to do fireworks even if a hurricane was barring down on us. Any reason to make noise

We were considering turning on our A/C last night - it was soo danged muggy. This morning I was looking to see if we had wood for the fireplace - it dropped to 42. The weather down here is nuts.

I'll be looking out the window, watching the fireworks on the Strip...then going to bed. Mostly I have to stay home to make sure my German Shepherd doesn't go berzerk from hearing fireworks. She's turned into a major sissy. Even drugs don't help her. Luckily, I can see just about everything from the window, but I'll TiVo the live stuff on tv, then go watch it after the fireworks are over.

I try never to leave my home, unless it's to go outside in my pjs in the wee hours of the morning to take pictures of our freak snowstorm. I was up at both 3am & 6am with my camera this morning.

Gonna have some hot Texas chile for supper, grab some brewskis and sit in the hot tub blowing bubbles for a while. By midnight we'll be looking for some snowcones or sitting buck naked in the snow bank behind the house and howling at the moon.

Having a quite New Years this year....

went and got 6 massive lobster tails, 10lbs of uncut filet mignon, (I like to slice them myself, 1 1/2 inch), Idaho Potatoes, and corn. Going to fire up the weber at around 5 PM and slow cook the feast.

We are having some close friends come over witht their kids, so it will be 6 adults and 4 kids plus my 18 year old.

Got half a botttle of Johhny Walker Blue, half a bottle of Chivas Royal Salute (thank you H) and 3 bottles of Moet for the toast....

Staying home and enjoying the family and kids...

At midnight will be lighting up a small barrage of artillery..

Tomm, back to work and lighting up my 5 affilaite programs for my merchant partners...

    Gonna be a great 2004 !!!
