You should tell us more about your level now. I know a good book but it is very high level and I have to walk through the examples coding as go.

If you are low to moderate level usally I recomend seobook.com as it is online, updated often, (more than a printed book can be) and written by one of the the best in the biz.

That being said you can search around and learn a lot online for free. Here, webmaster world, other forums....

I am a member at Wealthy Affiliate but am honestly considering leaving. I believe I have learned almost everything you can learn there. It really just seems to be a core SEO stuff. Like article writing, general PPC and stuff like that.

    Isn't SEO Book $100 dollars a month?

    I am considering it though...

You may want to look around for Stomping The Search Engines v2 DVD, which was almost free to get. Not sure if they closed the deal or not.

I recommend Dan Theis' very highly regarded book, Search Engine Optimization Fast Start. Best of all, it's FREE: http://www.seoresearchlabs.com/seo-book.php

Dan Theis, whose free ebook I posted a link to above, is on the StomperNet faculty. Thought you might recognize him, which is why I didn't make the connection.

His free ebook is actually better than most that you would pay hundreds for, and probably has most of what you're looking for with the StomperNet DVDs. Most importantly, it's current info. If my memory serves correct, StomperNet was originally based on Ken Evoy's ideas and his SiteSell system. Sitesell offers several free ebooks right from their site: http://freetrial.sitesell.com/. Just scroll down.

Another top FREE resource is from Rand Fishkin of SEOmoz.org: http://www.seomoz.org/articles (Free download: Internet Marketing Handbook and Web Developers SEO Cheat Sheet). You'll find top SEO people hanging out at his from his blog and can pick up some great tips there, as well as at Dan Theis' blog.

You've just been given several free resources that guaranteed, have more updated, current info than the DVDs, and which you can get your hands on within minutes.

Wow, $300 is way too much for that free course. Try Dan Theis then, he is top guy - he might be your free answer to your SEO questions.

I have to second the recommendation to check out the articles Rand Fishkin's written at SEOmoz. Good stuff for anyone who's not 100% familiar with the tricks of the trade; he breaks it down and it's easy to understand. At least IMO.
