I quickly read the title and thought it said "How to get by on $53 per week" and thought it was challenge from some some frugal guru.

I could certainly get by with a bit less.

Nope I don't and don't get people who NEED that kind of money per week... unless you are an employer with a staff offering some benefits.

I'm sure we can all WANT to have/earn $53k week, but that kind of money needs to be managed properly to get some value from it.

Large sums of money requires a certain level of responsibility and know-how.
If your just living off that each week (i.e NEED) I would think an evaluation of the self is in order. Only getting by on $2,756,000 a year should never be a problem. Geez.

I read where Russell Simmons pays $40K a month for child support for his 2 kids with Kimora Lee-Simmons. That's right, $40,000 a month.
He says he is glad to do it to maintain the standard of living that his children are used to....
    Think he would adopt me?

What have you got to offer in return?? I fit most the qualifications you're looking for.

I said I had most of the qualifications.

Money is the one I don't have. Does that matter?

I heard about this on the news the other night and couldn't believe it. But you know, people like this are not fazed by the recession, or if they are, it just means that they don't buy the extra yacht this year. So to us this seems exorbitant, but if she was used to spending that while married on her household expenses, clothing, entertainment, etc. then it prob does seem unreasonable to her to now have less.

But I do think it's crazy, and definitely not the right climate (if there ever was one) to be making complaints like this. She'll soon realize that not many, especially a Judge i would think, will be sympathetic to her cause.
