You were their affiliate, you reacted swiftly and deleted all of your sites to show them - and I guess you did. But did you ever explicitly say not to send you any more emails?

Since I believe they have to pay CJ by the address for sending through their system, I doubt they want to send it to you either.

But what the hey, you have a real hair trigger with them, rant away. It will be as productive as it was pulling all your links that would have been spidered and would have produced revenue for you.

Hey Sal, I'm with Chez Noir on this.

For CJ merchants, looking at the "in-depth" reports gives you only the most general of information about the affiliates you have.

You could compare the what we see to what a child sees when he studies an ant hill. A bunch of little bugs. There's no way to differentiate you from the next guy who is also sending a minute amount of clicks, but doesn't plan on improving. So the only choice of the merchant is how to manage non-performers.

I'm here to tell you that we catch hell no matter what we decide.

On the other hand, just a short email to the AM tells them that you care enough about the program that you're more likely to actually get some work done-- or in your case, that you've already done some work.

Hobbytron is a good merchant, who converts well. I know they are not part of ebates, but I have no idea if they are part of something else.

Replies like Clicks4nut'n annoy me to no end. There are times to say things when you have proof or a concrete issue, but this continuous - "oh woe is me, cry cry cry, no one makes money but parasites" is both foolish and destructive.

I keep getting those emails from merchants I dropped long time ago. It's not just from CJ but LS and BF, too.
