    Requirements for website approval
Ok, I have a website up but I want to make sure it meets requirements as close as possible before submitting. SAS FAQ is pretty vague on the requirements. So I thought I would ask here. Basically I have:
    1) My own product set up with PayPal and ready to buy
    2) A privacy policy
    3) A few articles from eZine posted, and
    4) An ad for Amazon in the top right header.
Does anyone know of sort of a generic checklist to go by for all ad networks?

    Thanks

Are you applying as an affiliate or setting up as a merchant? I am confused because of the amazon ad, a merchant shouldn't have ads like that.

White text, dark background sites look nice, for the 1st few minutes. But reading is always a strain on the eyes and people leave. What's your bounce rate, have you checked.

    Zendango,

You look good to go. Most merchants should approve you.

Thanks guys. I haven't sent any traffic to it so no data on the bounce rate...until I posted this message yesterday.. Now it is 54%. How is that for untargeted visitors? I have no Idea. This is my first time. In the past year since I dipped my toes into affiliate marketing I've done just enough research to know that I needed my own website with a central focus of interest of which to build a following around FIRST, and then comes the advertising. I didn't have that until I came up with this candle jacket idea. I have seen a lot of people start off trying to sell a "how to make money" guide when they haven't done so themselves, and then focus on putting ads up. I'm glad the networks and Google (as much as they ticked me off last year ) are selective in the content they market with.

    Thanks again, cheers, and peace.
