We have an inhouse affiliate program that operates within our shopping cart. The shopping cart program we use is called Shopsite.

We want to start looking for affiliates. What are the main items that potential affiliates want to see in an in-house program? What else should we consider when getting started?

Lastly, if we list coupons on coupon sites in exchange for an affiliate code, should we make the coupon site sign an affiliate agreement with all of the terms and conditions I have seen listed on some affiliate sites?

    Thanks

Your best bet is to directly contact successful AMs like Andy R., Akiva, Linda B., Patrice, Chris (WSO), etc. They can give you the inside scoop on how to create an awesome affiliate program.

    Datafeeds would be nice.

You should have your terms and conditions for an affiliate program.

    Thank you,

One thing that some big affiliates require is the ability to append sub IDs onto affiliate links (this pertains to loyalty/rewards sites).

Got it. I am now trying to determine how I would install the tracking link on my reciept page becasue it is very limited in user inputs on the receipt page. It is Shopsite Ver 6.3 shopping cart software.
