Two hours ago I changed the email address I accept orders through.. the prefix was orders@, I changed it to sales@ - changed it at Pay Pal and uploaded the pages with the new email address on it.

I just got a spam letter to sales@.

Is this a new record or what?

It is possible that some spammers target common addresses like sales, info, webmaster, order, etc...

sales@xxxxxx is one of the commonly used spam addys in use by spammers. However, I receive spam to an email address that no one knows but Pay Pal. I have it posted no where. I have started coding email addresses that I give only to specific companies so that I know when one of them has sold or otherwise passed the addy to someone else that uses it for spam.
