    $0 Sales at SAS
    I have a merchant at SAS that keeps posting $0 sales for international sales and then put them on pending status for 60 days. So far 66% of these $0 sales stay at $0 after the 60 days window has passed. Is this allowed on the SAS Network?? Is this common?? I have talked to the affiliate manager of the program and he has help me with this matter, my concern is with the merchant on why they keep putting them at $0 why not just post the sale and if it gets void or returned then just update the sale as anyone else does.

    At least one merchant there has gotten away with leaving these locked (in this case a 10-cent "marker" instead of $0 - but the same thing) without being updated dating back to 2003. Complaints to both the program manager and Shareasale staff were to no avail.

    I personally do not understand the reasoning behind this other then to ripe of the affiliate and the network.

    If you look at this thread you will see that Carolyn has resonded in a timely manner. I've seen this type of response from her at ABW before.
