It took nearly 3 weeks for the last check to arrive.

You mean your site was hit by the latest update?
Don't worry too much about it, just keep building good pages and sooner or later you will do well again with google.

I don't have a huge amount of traffic.. was getting average of 100 uniqes a day(broke 3000 for the mnth today).

Definitely a downward trend in traffic since about the 23rd.. about the time those new serps went in. My adsense also shows a real big drop in pageviews.. and today it seems to be completely broken with half the page impressions as usual.

At least payments I will get come quick and bank conversion rate is VERY good with no charges to deposit the check(at the time.. waiting to see if a charge shows up at the end of the month)

Now this doesn't make sense. How are people in the Netherlands and Canada getting their checks before us?

That's not how it should be. Oh well, I have hope it'll arrive in tomorrow's mail.

Maybe so to Calgary, but I usually get it 10 to 14 days here in Ontario.
By the way, I was in Calgary last summer for a day, then spent two weeks in Banff. Beautiful place!

'tis beautiful except for when it's this cold

Usually mail from the States to me takes 2 weeks also - this was a plesant surprise. Maybe it's the post office's way of making up for November/December payments taking until January to get to me

Well, maybe its at the airport in a our or so, from NY.
    Flight is bout 6 a 7 ours?
And we have a fast postal service over (small country)
I can imagine US mail goes by land, so could take a lot longer.

(it isn't alway this fast btw, if anything is a little bigger or heavier then a check it can take up to 4 weeks for something to arrive)

But it beats a real j.o.b.

My guess is they are holding the US checks so they can include the 1099s with them, and they don't have the 1099s done yet.
