I just got an email from someone at one of my sites advising me that certain links weren't working.. A quick check found that all my CJ links came up with a "server not found" error..

    Ack, Ack, Ack!

I just posted another message also stating about the banner and links. They are not showing up and when you click on them it just freezes up on my sites.

You had me worried TK so I checked out a couple of CJ links and they are working fine on my end. Just letting you know.

Checked again after reading your post Rik and they are working again.. Their system must have been down for a few minutes.

    Just checked--

Banners are happening SLOWER THAN MOLASSES on the pages I checked...

The TEXT links are working, too, but the redir to the merchant site is also VERY slow.

Mixed luck getting to the merchant through BANNER links. I tested 2 merchants' banners for functionality--One merchant's banner click went through (slowly!), the other's banners went to 404sville.

The sales have been happening okay today despite this, so I guess my visitors are a lot more patient than *I* am! But something certainly needs fixing--this IS too slow!

[Saw TK's post--Hm...it's still slow for me. It may have sped up a tad but it's still not right, either... ]

Well, I have had no sales completed since 6:30pm PDT tonight. How long do we have to put up with the delays on the qksrv.net site? This can cost me a couple of hundred dollars easy!

This could quite easily be caused by a broken router somewhere on the Internet dropping packets down a black hole. This happens regularly.

Such problems often occur local to the complainants, while other people don't seethe problem.

Learn to investigate using readily available tools (traceroute on your local machine, or web-based remote traceroute utilities) before you plant the blame firmly on the target server.
