    E-Z Rent-A-Car affiliate program closing
"As of June 1, the E-Z Rent-A-Car affiliate program through ShareASale will be closing."
Hard to believe the program was not profitable. They are the third in the Top 100 PowerRank.

Strange things are happening with affiliate industry nowadays. Hard times came and I hope we hit the bottom.

    E-Z Rent-A-Car: 7 Day Reversal 2,000.00 %
It means they are still active but are reversing all the commissions even if they have enough money in their escrow account.
They should be deactivated. No free traffic.

    Maybe they are going in-house?

They have an in-house program to replace SAS. To keep an affiliate program running up the the last day and reverse all the commissions after that is stealing 30 days of our cookies. Not nice and not a way to run an affiliate program.
Do you think I want to apply for their indie program, now?

Yes, SAS is not paid if the commissions are reversed and it's not normal, either.
What I like with SAS is the transparency in their tracking. If the tracking pixel is fired the sale is reported. It's a big protection for the affiliates.
I don't mind the reversals. Some business models like rental car cies have lots of cancellations and no shows meaning high reversals. In that case, we know the reason for voiding the commissions has nothing to do with that.

Cookies are valid for 180 Days, (Not 30 days like I said) meaning commissions should still be paid during the next 6 months
