Hi, since I put my websites on the ebates exclusion list sales were steadyly going down and now I am selling nothing.

Haiko, was this list a trap?

I there any new application out there which overwrites cookies more accurate than before?

Honestly, I'm surprised every time a sale DOES make it through these days! With parasites overwriting cookies (of course they're in compliance), Norton blocking affiliate links, and various tracking problems, it's truly a wonder that ANYTHING makes it through!

And it's only going to get worse, unless someone has a magic cure somewhere...

I've been at this for five years, and overall my conversion rate has not gone down significantly.

No question, the parasites et al. are eating into my commissions, but there are actions that can prevent that from destroying your business (as discussed on ABW and elsewhere).

Carneol, I'd be interested on what the others that signed up with the exclusion list have to say about sales? One case doesn't make it a trap.

    I myself rejected the offer.

I signed up for the exclusion list and haven't seen any ill affects. Things are a bit slow right now, but that was expected for my site this time of year. Christmas season was just fine.

I couldn't tell if that is an issue or not since I never got on the exclusion list.

Where is that ebates support ticket thread gone?
I posted there that after I put my websites on the exclusion list first all big sales were gone, the amounts decreased from week to week and finally even the little sales are gone.

I signed up for the exclusion list and haven't seen any ill affects either. Dec and Jan were just fine! Feb is a little slow starting. I don't think that going on the list hurt anybody.

I avoid merchants with ebates mmm and monitor the few remaining coupons only ebates merchants carefully. If sales drop for those, they links will vanish too.

Parasites are thieves. What are you going to do about it?
