    Question Facebook question
To those that have a Facebook page for their website, does anyone know what technology Facebook is using for the "What's on your mind?" box where you post a URL from your site and can choose a product from that page to display.

What do you mean by choose a product? I know they are doing client side parsing as soon as you type in the box and fetching a preview of what is behind the link.

I use PopShops.com for displaying data feeds on my pages. When I create a page and then go and announce it on Facebook, it gives me numerous options from the feed to display on Facebook.

Here is a link to my Facebook page:facebook.com/pages/Bonin-Group-Inc/50170256103?ref=mf

I am working on a Blog and want to use the same technology.

They're using Javascript (AJAX) and PHP to scrape the page and give you choices based on the images on the page. It's a nice feature, but the PHP code gets pretty complicated determining which images should be presented as options. It needs to exclude design elements while considering larger images to present.
