    XML Feed Image_URL
    Hi, I dont know if this forum can help as I live in the United Kingdom and use the Buy.at network with Ticketmaster here in the UK.
    We have XML feeds that work ok but they have some image url's that dont end in jpg or gif eg: http://media.ticketmaster.co.uk/dbimages/8209a
    They just produce weird characters.
    Does anyone know how to convert the characters into a proper image?

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum.

    That link is to the raw image data.

    You can use a php script to display it

    PHP Code:
    <?php
     $im
    =@imagecreatefromstring(file_get_contents($_GET['link']));
     if (!
    $im$im=imagecreate(11);
    header('Content-type: image/jpeg');
    imagejpeg($im);
    imagedestroy($im);
    ?>
    This will create a 1px image if the url is invalid.
    Save the php as image.php and in your html page use:

    HTML Code:
    <img src="image.php?link=http://media.ticketmaster.co.uk/dbimages/8209a" alt="" />
    regards

    Bob thanks very much. Unfortunately it looks like the files are not in a decent format as I just get the single pixel.

    Did you manage to get 'http://media.ticketmaster.co.uk/dbimages/8209a' to work? As I couldnt?

    Thanks Very Much
