Are any of these books worth reading?
Hi I'm not so sure if this is the right forum to be asking this question but I couldn't find anywhere else. Are any of the following books worth reading for an extreme newb like myself?:

The Super Affiliate Handbook by Rosalind Gardner

High Performance Affiliate Marketing by Jeremy Palmer

Affiliate Marketers Handbook series by James Martell

    Thanks in advance

    Dunno. Never heard of them.

You might wanna research geno here on the forums and try reading his books. I bought one and it is great.

The main thing is that geno pruscov has a decent reputation around here and he is for real.

I think this is the place for you to start.

Also, ABW is the best afilliate book in the world. Read it. Learn it. Ask questions.

    Continued Success

Are you talking about "A Practical Guide to Affiliate Marketing"? Even though this a book for affiliate managers and merchants would it be helpful for affiliates like myself? If not, what books (besides the ABW of course) would help a newb affiliate like myself?

The only part of Steve's post that I agree with is "ABW is the best affiliate book in the world."

Everyone has heard of those 3 books.
I have not read them but I have note heard anything negative.

You are correct that Geno's book is for Managers

Hi so would it be a good buy for non management affiliates to buy Geno's book. Would it be of value to know what the managers know?

Let me echoe what was said.

ABW is the most comprehensive resource for original thought, marketing ideas and knowledge base for Affiliate Marketing. Although I have not read most of the books you mentioned, I am familiar with both people who wrote it and they are successful in this industry. However keep in mind that ABW is a very strong resource.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I appreciate the immense value of ABW (perhaps not even fully given I'm a newb). Just looking for additionaly resources that's all.

So I am nobody then sir ?

I am going on 9 years at this and I had no idea these folks even existed....

Who forgot to tell me ?

Oh well. I'm sure you meant well dude. No hard feelings yo.

Just stick w/ AbestWeb and gain all you can. There are some jerks here and a few that just don't agree [see above for "disagree" part please] and some that will flame the shit {} out of you while their B.S. goes unchecked etc. etc.

Point is ABW is a super great resource and Haiko is off the hook.

I simply think you are already in the right place. Relax. Make friends [I suck at that part, lol] and stay a few decades.

The people I have met are miles ahead of reading a book. They can answer q's in real time. I even a got a few phone #'s... That stuff ROCKS !!

Do learn from ALL sources yes. But you are already THERE.

    Welcome to ABW bro.

I honestly wish you continued success my man.

    Hope this helps !

In my opinion, by the time you get these books, they are outdated.

That is exactly why ABW is the best affiliate marketing book there is, because it updates daily...heck hourly...ok, minutely...is that a word?

You get the point though. If you are looking for something specific, do a search. So much better than any of those books, for sure!
