    Any Thoughts or Suggestions
I'm looking to make travel plans to the summit hopefully today and was curious as to when and how long you are going for. Right now I'm kind of stuck between going on Saturday thru Tuesday, or Sunday thru Wednesday.

I'm leaning toward doing the Saturday - Tues for the fact that travel will be a little cheaper by either train or plane

When are most of you going and leaving and thanks for any suggestions ???

I think the Saturday til Tuesday is looking better now that I know the 3 of you will all be there then. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again

Mel, Is your friend flying out of Syracuse? I was checking out JetBlue and if I fly (What are the odds of that ) it would be Jet Blue. I still have money left over from my canceled San Diego trip but thats with United and it's not a non stop flight so that isn't going to happen. I would have to go to Washington and then NYC both ways

Definitely Saturday through Tuesday. Some of the ancillary things start Saturday. Things wind down Tuesday afternoon / early evening.

Packy I have the feeling you will be taking the train down this time. Jet blue is cheap from your area to JFK but that still puts you 40 minutes from the hotel by train or cab.

Vinny, I was looking at that distance earlier I was reading on one of the maps that during heavy traffic a cab ride could be up to an hour????? If I did it right it looks like Penn Station is just over a mile away??? About a 5 minute cab ride do ya think?

I was thinking train and a stop at my sisters in Poughkeepsie either before or after but it looks like they are away for a week or so when I'll be around
