Help...need hosting suggestions for PHP popshops
I've had it with my web host. Everytime I have any little issue someone modifies the .htaccess file and breaks all my PHP popshops. Like right now.

I know this may be slightly off topic, but please mods, don't remove.

I want a host where I can use the PHP snippets within .html documents. My wish list would include hosting at least 10 domains in a single account (ability to set up domain pointers).

If you have any suggestions for hosts that work well, offer good support, decent pricing, etc I'd love to hear about them.

You can run php in html files without any problems at all at HostGator .com.

All you have to do is add the following to your .htaccess file at HostGator and they will run without any problems at all.

I use them and run php in html pages all the time.

    Code:
    AddHandler application/x-httpd-php5 .html

I was lucky enough to convince a gal on the phone to expedite my support ticket and a "tier 2" techie got things running again.

My current host is IPower Web. When I can get to a level 2 person, I usually get good results. But the others just seem to mess things up more before I get to that point.

Yes, I've been using the "AddType" line in htaccess files and I think someone removed that at root level yesterday.

Thanks, I'll take a look at Host Gator.

I use multiple web hosts, not to put all my eggs in one basket. I have been with Ipower Web, Startlogic both. Later realized that both are the same company, same servers, same support and same everything. One is just a white label site of the other. Then their tech support wasn't upto par. I have moved my sites from them to other hosts.

You should start looking at other hosts, like HostGator, BlueHost. I am sure you will see a difference.
