This one nearly got me as I made a Ebay purchase on PayPal today.

    <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>Dear PayPal Valued Customer,

The email link was in fact to this address [url removed]

It then redirected to a PayPal legitimate page. However the intermediate page contained this Javascript.

[edited out javascript - security reasons - Akiva ]

I can't work out what they were trying to achieve? Any thoughts?

I notified PayPal and have changed my password.

Sort of worked it out, the javascript generates two pages, a legit and a spoof logon. The Spoof did not appear as it was blocked by my anti-pop up Google toolbar!!!

You will need to remove the link as well Akiva as the maggots will be able to read the javascript as easily as me. Unable to do it myself as over 30 mins have passed.

Forward the entire email to the Paypal Spoofs address listed on the Paypal site so they can follow up trying to catch these creeps
