If I don't take my 8 year old grand stinker to see it this weekend, I might as well move out of my home and shove off to another country.

Between you and me, I'm pretty excited to see it myself.

Movies have never really been as good as the books, but I am told this one is pretty good.

I can't wait to see it.

I have to wait till Sunday when everyone in the family is free.

snappy, hope it's not swine flu?

Grandpooper Jimmy, isn't it PG-13? Keep her busy with lots of and candy then if it's scary. I personally thought that the first movie with "He-who-shall-not-be-named" in the back of the head was the scariest.

    dork!

The only thing keeping me from moving to Belize with my satellite modem is the fact that being without my grand-daughters would be worse than death right now.

    Have to watch them grow.

They've lived with Papa all their lives and I wouldn't know what to do without them. -

Already have tickets reserved for the IMAX 3D version, on the first day it comes out (which, sadly, isn't until the 29th!). Very excited to see it - I loved the book!

DD is a little young for it. Will probably wait for the video. Smaller screen is not as frightening.

My favorite games are Gothic/2/3 and Morrowind/Oblivion. So when I saw a trailer for the new Harry Potter I thought "Damn! Gotta see it all now!!!" I haven't seen any of Harry Potter movies, am I lucky or what :P

BTW, I started watching LOST in the end of 2008. Imagine all of them for the first time with no commercials all day long...

I loved the book. I did not care for the movie as much as i thought i would. They left out many key storylines and added scenes not from the book. Its a huge book so didn't expect it all to be covered by the movie, but why add scenes? I have spoken to few people who saw it but hadn't read the book. They all seemed to like it. To anyone who has not seen it, if you enjoy reading this is great time to start reading books!

Login, Thats the best way to watch Lost! I caught up just before last season. I HATE waiting a week find out what happens!

I dunno im kinda mixed with this movie ..

It seemed more of a transitional movie / cliff hanger for the next 2 films ..

Even Part 1 of the next movie looks like its going to be like this one .. a transitional to the main event (Last movie / prt 2) .. Hogwarts ( all the schoolies / HP and gang ) Vs Voldermort and company ( death eaters / magicial creatures)

2010 / 2011 .. way far out for the next two films .. BlaH

Definitely a cliffhanger movie, I agree.

When the two-some hours went by, hubby and I looked at each other when the credits rolled by and said, what? that's it? no closure to this movie?

Guess they have to make it so suspenseful at the end to make you want to read the next book or want to still go to the movie to see the next one.

Great movie though, and I think in 3D it would be awesome.
