Everyone probably already knows this and I am just late to the party. Yesterday I notice Linkshare and GGL Aff Network ads are considered adware. I was posting some ads and noticed they were blocked by a pretty good online DNS service. The reason ADWARE. Is this old news? If so what is being done? If it's really old news just smack me and tell me what I need to do.

I'm not sure what you mean when you say that "a pretty good online DNS service" is blocking the links.
If this is just security-software flagging or blocking affiliate-network domains, it is definitely "old news." Several major "internet security" tools block "affiliate network" links , and some flag affiliate-network cookies as "infections." Historically, the large "legacy" networks (LS, CJ) have been blocked, but as GAN grows it surely also will be excluded more often. Of course, functionally-identical affiliate links to Amazon aren't blocked, nor are most small networks or "direct" affiliate links.
Search for "adware" here, or for an internet-security product name.

The service I'm talking about is opendns dot com. It is free DNS service that can be used for content filtering. I use it because i have two kids in the house and want to limit what they have access to on the internet. But like I said, I was updating pages and noticed some banners were note being served. I pasted the banner URL in the address bar and was told I do not have access to the site because it is categorized as adware. Just thought I'd post as a general FYI
