CheapCaribbean.com's affiliate program on Commission Junction used to have a 45 day action period with unlimited action occurances.
Now they are changing to a one day action period with only one occurance allowed.
Travel isn't exactly an impulse purchase.
Did they just shoot themselves in the foot with their affiliates?
Funjet Vacations has also reduced their affiliate fees from 8% to 5% and now to 3%.
What's with these travel affiliate programs at Commission Junction?

I wonder if they're just trying to capitalize on that many affiliates have posted their links on sites that they may never update, and who never read their emails. They must be getting enough conversions to cover their CJ costs—why else would they continue their program?Renée
